Hidden Rules & Critical Conditions
- 5% Profit Cap Per Payout Cycle (QT 2 Step) [Critical]: The QT 2 Step plan enforces a 5% profit cap per 14-day payout cycle. Regardless of how much profit you generate, you can only withdraw up to 5% of your account balance every 14 days. Profits exceeding 5% remain locked in the account until the next cycle window.
- Triple Entity Structure — Contracts With Offshore SVG Entity, Not UK or FSCA Broker [Critical]: QT Funded operates through three separate legal entities: (1) Quant Tekel LLC (St. Vincent & the Grenadines) — the actual entity you contract with for the funded program; (2) Quant Tekel (Pty) Ltd (South Africa, FSCA FSP No. 53227) — a regulated broker that handles brokerage for Africa/Asia only via a DIFFERENT website (quanttekel.com), NOT for QTFunded.com evaluations; (3) Quant Tekel Ltd (UK, Company 15923693) — payment processing only. The ToS explicitly states: "Customers contract with Quant Tekel SVG, not Quant Tekel Ltd." The FSCA-regulated broker has NO role in the evaluation program.
- Giveaway Account Winners: 1 Social Media Post Required Per $1,000 of Account Value [Critical]: Traders who win promotional or giveaway evaluation accounts must publish a minimum number of social media posts to be eligible for payout. The requirement is 1 post per $1,000 USD of evaluation account value. A $50,000 giveaway account requires 50 posts. Posts must tag Quant Tekel, contain original trading content, and remain published for a minimum of 30 days. Failure means payout is withheld until all posts are submitted and verified.
- 2% Max Risk = Instant Hard Breach on QT Instant [Critical]: The QT Instant plan enforces a 2% maximum risk rule as a HARD BREACH — meaning any single trade or total open exposure exceeding 2% of the initial account balance causes immediate account termination with no prior warning. This is explicitly documented as a hard breach in the Terms of Service.
- Consistency Rules on QT Power (35%) and QT Instant (25%) [Warning]: QT Power enforces a 35% consistency score: no single trading day may represent more than 35% of total account profits. QT Instant enforces a 25% consistency score. These are measured on a rolling basis for the funded account. On QT Instant, breaching the consistency rule resets the 5% minimum profit withdrawal requirement.
- News Trading Banned Around 5 Events (QT 2 Step & QT Instant) [Warning]: Trades cannot be initiated within 5 minutes before or after any of these Red Folder releases: Consumer Price Index (CPI), FOMC Statement, FOMC Meeting, Non-Farm Employment Report (NFP), and USD PMI. This applies to ALL pairs during these events. Positions opened more than 5 minutes before the event may be held through it. Limit orders with predefined SL/TP set >5 minutes before a release may be triggered during the event.
- Chargeback Dispute = Permanent Account Ban [Warning]: The Terms of Service explicitly state that once a trader disputes an order payment (chargeback), it "has an adverse impact on the company, financially, and causes damage to our company profile." QT Funded policy is to ban accounts of traders who dispute payments, and they "will not entertain any requests to unban the accounts."
- Funded Stage Minimum Trading Day Profit Requirement (QT Prime) [Warning]: The Terms of Service lists a funded stage minimum trading day requirement for QT PRIME that includes an additional qualifier: "4 Minimum Days % 2 x +0.5% profit each (closed each day)." This appears to require that funded stage payout eligibility requires at least 4 trading days with closed daily P&L above 0%, with at least 2 of those days showing +0.5% or greater closed profit.
