• News trading is marketed as allowed, but funded profits are haircut to 40% [Critical]: FundedNext says news trading is allowed across Stellar models, but once you reach a funded account or use Instant, only 40% of profit from trades opened or closed within 5 minutes before or after a listed high-impact news event counts. Losses during the same window still count 100%.
• Rewards are review-based and can be denied in full after rule-violation review [Critical]: FundedNext runs compliance review before processing rewards and may apply post-processing review later. It states that if profit from violating trades exceeds the requested reward amount, the reward may be denied in full, and the account may be paused for further assessment.
• Challenge reward and fee refund are delayed more than the marketing headline implies [Warning]: On current post-Jan-12-2026 challenge accounts, the 15% challenge reward is no longer freely withdrawable right after passing. It is tied to later scale-up eligibility. Passing Reward timing also differs by plan: 1-Step and Lite wait until the 3rd funded withdrawal, while 2-Step gets it on the 1st. Instant gets no Passing Reward at all.
• Behavior-based enforcement can impose a 1% risk cap or leverage reduction [Warning]: FundedNext's anti-gambling framework allows it to warn traders, reduce leverage, impose a 1% Risk Limit, or terminate accounts for repeated Gambling Behavior, One-Sided Betting, Hyperactivity, or related conduct. Warnings are cumulative across accounts.
• Instant withdrawals can collide with the trailing loss floor [Warning]: Stellar Instant lets traders transfer reward share to wallet, but full transfers can breach the account if the post-transfer balance falls to or below the trailing maximum loss line. FundedNext offers a 1% buffer for news-time deduction edge cases, but only up to three times on one account.
