Hidden Rules & Critical Conditions

• First 3 Payouts Capped at 5% of Bankroll — Excess Profit Forfeited [Critical]: The Rules and Conditions document (V.2 March 2026) states: 'Profit Cap: Temporary limit on the profit you can earn during your initial Payout cycles. This profit cap applies to the first three approved Payouts only. Any profit over the cap is forfeited and will be removed when your Account is reset to the original balance.' The cap is 5% of the nominated bankroll.
• 30% Best-Day Rule Applies to All Payouts — Indefinitely [Critical]: A daily profit distribution cap applies to every payout request, not just the first three: 'Trading profits generated on any single calendar day contribute to a maximum percentage limit of the requested profit.' The limit is 30% for accounts created on or after 03.02.2026. This means no more than 30% of any payout request amount can originate from a single trading day. Profits above this threshold from that day are forfeited.
• 60-Second Minimum Trade Duration for Qualifying Trading Day [Warning]: The Rules and Conditions states that minimum trading days are counted as 'calendar days during which a trade is placed,' with a parenthetical: '(60 secs per trade).' This means each trade must be held for at least 60 seconds to count toward the minimum trading days requirement. Trades closed in under 60 seconds are disqualified from meeting the minimum day requirement.
• Evaluation Rules Do NOT Reflect Funded Rules — Strategy Trap [Warning]: Multiple prohibited strategies are explicitly stated as 'Not allowed in the Funded Stage' — meaning they ARE allowed in the evaluation stage. These include: Scalping (sub-30 seconds), Martingale, Grid trading, Tick scalping, Copy trading, and News trading (5-min window). This creates a significant mismatch: a trader who passes evaluation using these strategies will find them banned the moment they enter the funded stage.
• Payout Approval Requires Video/Phone Call at Firm's Discretion [Warning]: The Rules and Conditions state: 'You may be required to participate in a telephone and/or video call as part of Payout Qualification processes. Failure to do so may cause a Payout to be delayed or declined.' Additionally, the risk team has 'sole and absolute discretion in determining whether Payouts are approved' and all payout requests are individually reviewed.
• Hedging Banned Includes Correlated Currency Pairs [Warning]: DNA Funded uses the broadest possible definition of hedging: 'Using the same or different accounts to open positions that create offsetting or opposing exposure to the same underlying denominated assets, either directly or indirectly, across the same or different instruments, with identical or similar trade volumes.' This explicitly includes: 'Taking positions that result in long and short exposure to the same currency or asset through different pairs (e.g. long EURUSD and long USDJPY, which both create opposing USD exposure).' This rule applies across ALL stages (evaluation and funded) and ALL plans.
• Instant Funding Bans All Automated Trading [Warning]: The 'Expert Advisor (EA) Trading' rule states: '1 Phase, 2 Phase and Rapid: Allowed. Instant Funding: Not allowed.' This means all automated trading systems, expert advisors, and scripts are completely prohibited for Instant Funding accounts. The plan is not labeled as 'manual trading only' on the homepage.
• VPN/VPS Allowed but Requires Log History Submission: VPN and VPS use is permitted, 'subject to providing Risk team with VPN log in history.' The VPN login history must be provided to the risk team on request. This is unusual — most firms simply ban or permit VPN use without a surveillance requirement.
